We are working to change the perception and stereotypes typically associated with Will writing services. We have a passion for both estate planning and technology and we believe that we can bring a fresh approach to the Will writing process by making it simple and more accessible. Our aim is to build long-term relationships with all of our clients, whatever their age or background.

what happens if I don’t have a will?

If you don’t have a Will then your money, property and personal belongings are shared out according to certain rules determined by law, known as the rules of intestacy. This could mean that the people you would like to benefit may lose out, or your estate may pay more inheritance tax than it needs to. If you have children under the age of 18 and you die without making a Will, the courts will make the decision of who to appoint as their guardians, if both parents have died. Whilst the courts may opt to appoint a blood relative as the guardian, it is not guaranteed and the person that they choose may not be who you would have chosen. The law currently doesn’t cater for common-law partners, so in the case of unmarried couples, the surviving partner will have no legal claim over your assets.

can I just write a will myself?

A Will is one of the most important legal documents you will need, therefore it is vitally important that you seek advice from an experienced and qualified professional to ensure that your Will is drafted properly to accurately reflect your wishes and that it is signed and witnessed correctly. If a Will is invalid then this could cause problems for your loved ones after your death and result in lengthy and costly court proceedings.

what are your fees?

Our business is based upon fair and transparent fixed fee pricing. Our fees are not published on our website as our preference is to speak to you first to fully understand your objectives. This allows us to provide you with a comprehensive quote tailored to your personal requirements.
